World of Warcraft patch 6.2 has been available on test servers for quite a period of time, and will come in few weeks. In a recent interview, WOW lead designer Ion Hazzikostas talked about detailed features of the upcoming patch, including Tanaan Jungle, flying mounts and the next move for WOW.

Tanaan Jungle

Tanaan Jungle is a brand new zone in WOW patch 6.2. Things have changed from the first visit to this area when Warlords of Draenor first launched on last November. But it is certain that every kind of players can get surprises from this area. If you are fond of collection, you can be able to explore and dig out every secret of the zone. Well, if you prefer to the plot, there are big setpiece quests to the gates of Hellfire Citadel.

However, Tanaan Jungle will not be the only major addition to patch 6.2. In WOW 6.2 PTR, we can see that many different events would have been added in World of Warcraft 6.2, like the weekend bonus event and timewalking we reported before.

No flying in Tanaan Jungle, even in any new zones or expansions

Initially, Blizzard expected to unlock flying at some point to patch, but now they confirmed that things changed already, because it flying detracts from gameplay. Before flying introduced in the Burning Crusade, players firstly considered how to reach the target area to complete a certain quest. But flying makes things too easily to enjoy it.

Hazziokostas confirms that this direction includes future expansions, though he doesn't discount the possibility of adding flight options in to specific expansion ideas or zones that would benefit from it.

Patch 6.2 isn't the final update for Warlords of Draenor

The lead designer has confirmed that Patch 6.2 is not the final update of Draenor and that they have had many stories to be told after that. Besides, Blizzard is also working hard to make sure that the next expansion will comes with the past WOD patch in future.
