It has been some days since swtor patch 3.3 alive on PTS. Along with the PTS process, many players reported that the 99 lockbox is too small for players to get some good pvp gears. Considering that, AlexModny told this morning that they will update the common box to 100, 500, and 1000 in new PTS refresh!

A larger legacy lockbox or credit certificates would be appreciated

The Warzone Commendation Legacy Lockboxes that introduced in PVP Updates allows players to transfer 99 Warzone Commentations to another character in Legacy or to store for later use, which provide much convenience for players. However, there is a limitation on 99 comms, which is pretty low if you're looking to fully gear a new 60. It will be nice if there is a larger pack of 500 or 1000 comm boxes. Besides, it is also acceptant if it is made like credit certificates from conquests, and allows you to buy x comms instead of a box that contains x comms. Supposing there are BoL certificates that can be traded back to vendor for the specific values, it will be much easier.

The 99 legacy box will be updated to be 100, 500, and 1000

To response players’ feedback, AlexModny explained that limit of warzone commendation legacy boxes is set as 99 due to technology limitation, but they will change the current 99 to 100, 500, and 1000 commendation boxes with the available of new technology. So players can expect these 3 items in the upcoming PTS refresh. As for the cost of updated boxes, it is similar as that of the 99 one, meaning that they will be sold for how many comms they grant. Thus, you may need to do more Warzones for the higher need of comms. On this occasion, you could buy some cheap swtor credits to help for your adventure.

The updated warzone commendation legacy boxes won’t stack


It is a pity that the updated boxes cannot stack. But Alex has explained so: “The tech we got does not apply to item stacks, rather it allows for items to grant a currency, much like how reputation and requisition are granted via a consumable item” and told that they will try to bring this functionality in, in the future.

Based on this issue, someone suggests to create a new fancy code that allows players to create consumable items which would generate X amount of Y material, while others hope to create one comm balance for entire legacy. It seems a great idea for no need wasting time to transfer comms, but everything needs time and cost to develop. So just enjoy the new coming and wait for other surprise.
