The exact date of Swtor Patch 3.3 is still being finalized, however, now we can get the first glimpse of its pvp updates and ranked changes, which will let players spend more time focusing on pvp and skill instead of who is most geared. As it was shown on the Bad Feeling Podcast, Biaware was planning to make a few changes to Warzones and Ranked Warzone Arenas, aiming at reducing pvp grind and focusing more on skills. Additionally, the ranked reward system will be changed to make it great to collect tokens and rank in order to get rewards. Here you can see the restated contents that officially confirmed on June 1.

PvP Gear updates
1. PVP Gear costs reduced: Exhumed gear will be reduced by roughly a third and a full set will now cost about 4075 Warzone Commendations. The exact prices of Dark Reaver/Ranked set are still being finalized, but won’t be reduced as much as entry gear.

2. Ranked Warzones Commentations removed from the game. Everything is purchased with Warzone Commentations and the previous tier gear piece now.

3. Warzone XP and Credit rewards would be given a boost to be double as before.

4. Warzone Commendation Legacy Lockboxes would be added to transfer Commentations to characters. You may buy an item to transfer 99 Warzone Commentations to another character in your Legacy or to store for later use.

5. AOE attacks will no longer stop players from capping.

6. In Ranked Warzones, in order for a character to enter the queue they will need to be wearing gear that gives them max expertise.

Ranked Rewards changed

1. Rather than specific item rewards, playing ranked matches now give you season specific tokens to buy aesthetic rewards. The number of tokens based on the tier of rating and the number of medals you get.

2. Based on your top rating at the end of the season, you will get a larger amount of tokens to spend. Players with max medals get more than those with minimum medals at roughly a 1:18 ratio.

3. Tokens and rewards are character bound and can be used up to the following season. For example, Season 6 tokens can be used during Season 7, and then removed forever by being converted into warzone commendations, meaning that you will have an entire season to spend last season tokens on the rewards

4. Most rewards will now be bought with tokens, but 1 reward per tier will stay exclusive to that tier. Due to this, a bronze tier player might be able to buy most of the gold tier rewards if they play enough, but cannot buy the one exclusive gold reward.
