4. STORAGE – There should be a storage box or cabinet where some of the office equipments can be carried into to avoid any sort of damage that may occur. There are certain sensitive and important things that should be kept in a safe and protective custody. This means that they should not be exposed in a careless and reckless manner.

5. REGULAR SERVICING – Offices should have a service engineer that will always ensure that the office equipments are thoroughly and regularly checked at all times. A problem does not need to develop before these office equipments are serviced. This servicing can be done on a weekly, bi – weekly or monthly basis. The main thing is to detect and prevent any sort of damage from arising at the long run.

6. PROPER USAGE AND HANDLING – It is good to always know how to handle the office equipments. Most of these equipments come with manual that help or guide in making use of the office equipments. New employees in the office should always be though how to operate some of the office equipments. This will go a long way to make them productive and prevent any sort of damage.
