Overview
After the 4G DTU is powered on, first read the working parameters saved in the internal FLASH, and then perform 4G PHCP dialing. After the dialing is successful, the 4G DTU will get the internal IP address randomly assigned by the mobile device. We can understand that the 4G DTU is now a device in the mobile internal LAN and communicates with the external Internet public network through the mobile gateway.

The 4G DTU actively initiates a communication connection with the data center and always maintains a communication connection available. Since the 4G DTU is located on the mobile intranet, the IP address is not fixed. Therefore, the data center can only be actively connected through 4G DTU, which requires the data center to have a fixed public IP address or a fixed domain name. The public network IP address or the fixed domain name of the data center is stored in the 4G DTU as a parameter. Once the power-on dialing is successful, the 4G DTU can actively connect to the data center.

Specifically, the 4G DTU initiates a TCP or UDP communication request to the data center through the IP address and port number of the data center. After receiving the response from the center, the 4G DTU considers that the handshake with the center is successful and the communication connection is always present. If the communication connection is interrupted, the 4G DTU will immediately vibrate the center. Since a TCP/UDP communication connection has been established, data bidirectional communication is possible.

For DTU, as long as the two-way communication with the data center is established, it is relatively simple to complete the conversion of the user serial port data and the GPRS network data packet. Once the user's serial data is received, the DTU immediately encapsulates the serial data in a TCP/UDP packet and sends it to the data center.
