Finally, runescape is going to release your long-awaited update to defenders, with some awesome divination outfits and the closed beta of Chronicle: old school rs gold Legends, though they are most focusing on the Raptor this time. But for you players, it is still the good news to hear the update.

There will be brand new defenders being added from level 70 all the way up to level 90. Right now, they are just releasing the melee versions, with ranged and magic defenders coming out later.

The new defenders are drops from the Barrows, Nex and the Kalphite King, but you will need to grab the lower-tiered defenders before you have a chance to get the higher ones. So grab your dragon defender and get ready to cross the world to find all three of the tasty new weapons.

There are a few extra steps to completing each one, so keep a look out for more info on them over the next few weeks. Other, you will get the chance to grab Divine Simulacrum outfits in Treasure Hunter. These outfits can speed up your divination training, and can be combined for even greater divination-related rewards.

You can also have an extra chance to get those rare items from the Rare Store, increasing rare tokens for a special weekend and reducing the token price of the rares themselves.

Well, you should already know that. The closed beta for the brand new strategy card game Chroncile: Runescape Legends will be launching on the 25th of November. It is a fantastic game that is well worth trying out, so pop over to the Chronicle website and sign up right now.

Death to another player

This is probably the most common case. You're unskulled but someone comes and kills you. You will lose ALL items (unless protect item is on). Untradeables are dropped to the ground. Other player receives a bank key and can take 28 items from your bank. However, you can protect 10 items via the insurance system. You lose 50% of your total xp but can retain your current levels in 2 combat skills and 3 other skills. The other player becomes skulled. If you die to another player while you're skulled, the same mechanics as above apply to xp loss and bank raiding, but attacking a skulled player does not make you skulled.

Death to an NPC (other than guard)

This is similar to death mechanics when OSRS was released. You lose all but 3 items if unskulled (all items if skulled), but protect item saves an additional item. Players around you can pick up your stuff the instant you die. You do not lose items from your bank if unskulled, but you lose 28 if you're skulled (confirming with Mod Ash on this).

Death to guard (only while skulled)

Everything in your inventory (except one, again with protect item) will be dropped where you died. 28 items from your bank will also be dropped. A guard will kill you almost instantly and there is no escape.

Other notes

It should be assumed that if you die above 20 wild, your untradeables will turn to coins.
