September 2019, Manila – (https://www.picc.gov.ph/meeting_rooms/reception-hall/) The Philippine International Convention Center truly is the ideal event venue in Manila. As one of the delegates who went to this place for an event, it is astonishing to see how its management took care of their guests during the course of the event. It is not surprising to see how beautiful and professional PICC is knowing that they have been serving different groups and organizations for a very long time. They ensure that they have everything an event needs - from furniture, catering services to technical equipment.
PICC is has been called “Host to the World" because it has hosted various events with world class performers and guests all around the world. Big names in the local and international music and arts industry already performed at this venue such as our very own Lea Salonga. I was recently at the PICC as a delegate for an event that promoted environmental awareness. The event was fully supported by the PICC as it is also an advocate for sustainable development. The center is also a graduation venue for many schools in Manila as I remember attending several commencement exercises here. The Center has big halls which are perfect for large batches of graduating students. One’s graduation becomes extremely memorable if it is held in a wonderful place like PICC.
At PICC, with its world-class facilities and professional service, you will feel like a VIP. PICC is a member and with good standing with local and international associations like the Association Internationale Palais de Congres (AIPC), International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA), and many other well-known organizations. There is no doubt why this center is dubbed as 'Your Host to the World'. It boasts of ample space, complete amenities, wonderful and courteous staff and management, and last but not the least, the reputation of being a world-class convention center.
PICC is the first international convention center in Asia. It was designed by the National Artist for Architecture Leandro V. Locsin. With more than 70,000 square meters of floor area and five (5) building modules, it has a wide range of facilities that can accommodate almost any gathering of any size.
