Reason one: AFK for work
This may be the most common AFK reason. Everyone goes through such a times - graduate from university and get a job. During this period of time, some may leave their homelands in search of a job, some are likely to stay up late for extra work. All these pressure mean that the previously beloved world of warcraft will no longer be the theme of life before you settle down with stable income and life. However, according to incomplete statistics, 90% of the players who afk due to work will come back again.
Reason two: Fall in love
Here we don’t mean having a love affair will hampered one’s progress of enjoying world of warcraft. Instead, you may find a good partner that might be your “soulmate”. There might be some difficulties on your way to happiness. You might need to find time for learning to improve both of you, or work hard for composing your own family. AFK with this reason, 80% of the players will come back.
Reason three: Get married
Why this reason is placed after the second one? Because getting married is greatly different from having a love affair. We may love several girls/boys in our lifetime, meaning that one would be most likely to come back WOW when love failure occurs. But how many times can a normal guy get married? In many people’s mind, getting married means that you have found your lifetime partner. Marriage is not only a legal contact, but also means a responsibility and obligation. So, according to my long-term experience, people afk for this reason are less likely to come back, less than 50% in conservative estimate cases.
Reason four: Be frustrated
Nothing is more lamentable than a dead heart. This words could be applied to some certain situations. There are not so many reasons for a player to leave, but some just happen to disappoint you. Maybe when your guild members leave, maybe when the talent is not so valuable, maybe when there is not so good content...there is also one makes you frustrated and decide to leave. Usually, AFK for this reason, only 10% of players might be back.
