The Highly Skilled And Experienced Team At This Eco-Friendly Resort Caters To All Skill Levels And Offers Competitive Fishing Packages For Holidaymakers

Crocodile Bay is situated in the beautiful fishing paradise of Costa Rica and they offer an eco-friendly stay to holidaymakers the world over. Their fishing packages are offered at competitive rates, currently on a 20% discount to encourage people to breathe in the salty sea air after so many months in forced isolation. Additionally, Crocodile Bay boasts the largest professional sport fishing team in Central America with in-house captains and mates able to cater to all skill levels.

At the helm of the sportfishing operation stands Diego Camacho, Director of Fishing and expert fisherman. Diego is a native-born Costa Rica who moved to the states at nine years old and spent 20 years cutting his fishing teeth in Marathon and Key West. What makes Diego unique is that he completely understands both cultures, therefore he manages employees and the expectations of our guests equally well. He and his crew are dedicated to providing education and training to ensure you enjoy the fishing adventure of a lifetime. Offshore, inshore, and now all-new kayak and shore fishing excursions are available, each uniquely challenging and equally rewarding.

Speaking at the resort, a spokesperson from Crocodile Bay said: “Most of our crew members grew up in the area and know the waters well. Our crews will give you as much or as little help as you want. We want this to be a great experience and communication with your crew enhances your visit here. You will be pleasantly surprised to find an English-speaking crew member on your boat as that is not always the case in other fishing operations.”

On the topic of the sportfishing offshore species, he added: “The “lady in the blue dress” or blue marlin is the most common of our marlin and cruise our cobalt waters all year. They peak in November and December as well as March and April. Black Marlin are most abundant in July and August and a few Striped Marlin are around at the same time.”

Holidaymakers and fishing enthusiasts can sign up for comprehensive fishing packages at competitive rates that will see them strap in and reel in a yellowfin tuna that can reach up to 300 lbs. Guests are also encouraged to try their luck in beating the current roosterfish resort record which now stands at 106 lbs. The upwelling caused by the offshore winds to the north and south moves baitfish into the area and leaves a flat ocean with one of the highest concentrations of sailfish in the world. Crocodile Bay truly is a fisherman’s paradise.
