While the end product is great, it’s also fun and interesting to see how people make their costumes and cosplay parts.

The creator says it was his first cosplay and I have to say, it’s very good quality for that. He was very creative with the materials and how he chose to use them. He also gives some tips about making cosplay costumes to the 501st or Rebel Legion standards. It will make it easier for you, which is something I have heard from a lot of other cosplayers as well. These organizations will work with you to help you choose the right dimensions, materials and other specifics for your cosplay parts so that you look authentic. They also know many tips and tricks about what works and what doesn’t and they can probably save you time and money (and also frustration) with building your costume.

So what do you think of this Starkiller? Ever done a similar cosplay of your own? Do you have any tips for someone who is new to Star Wars themed cosplaying?
