Multi-purpose sealants

The Sikaflex 11FC is part of the company’s current range of Sikaflex products. It is a premium-grade, moisture-cured, 1-component, polyurethane-based non-sag joint sealant and multi-use adhesive suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

The product can be used on a wide array of materials including cement, metal, wood, plastic, polyurethane, epoxy and some polyesters. It can be utilised as an adhesive for steel-framed buildings, lightweight construction materials, window and door frames, acoustic ceiling tiles, door sills and floor mouldings.

The product can also be used as a multi-purpose adhesive to seal joints in roofing, floors and guttering. It can be applied for indoor and outdoor bonding of thresholds, stair steps, window sills and other prefabricated elements. The Sikaflex 11FC also provides excellent pick resistance for applications in shop fronts, public amenities and buildings.

Characteristics and advantages of the Sikaflex 11FC

A new application of the Sikaflex 11FC sealant will adhere to a previous coating of a well-cleaned existing Sikaflex 11FC. The product can cure to a tough and durable consistency with exceptional cut and tear resistance. It is non-corrosive, resistant to bacterial attack, can withstand weather extremes and can absorb impacts and vibration. The product does not require priming, does not stain and is paintable with water, oil and rubber-based paints.

Colour options for the Sikaflex 11FC are black, grey, white and beige. The products are packed in cylindrical form and are available in cartons of 20 tubes,
