[LITHGOW, 21/03/2019] – Leading construction materials supplier Timberfix offers a range of high-performance joint sealants from the trusted brand Bostik. The team provides quick delivery services to different industries throughout New South Wales, including next day delivery service for clients in the Sydney Metro area.

Bostik Fireban® One

The Bostik Fireban® One from Timberfix is a low modulus, fire rated intumescent, one component, Class-A polyurethane joint sealant. When it is cured, it will form a flexible and tough fire rated seal that is capable of compression movement and cyclic expansion of up to 50 per cent (± 25 per cent) of the original width of the installed joint.

Bostik Fireban® One can be used on external and interior surfaces. They are compatible with substrates such as rendered masonry, precast and tilt-up panels, plasterboard, in situ concrete floors and walls and fibre cement sheet. The joint sealant is suitable for heavy commercial, residential and commercial applications.

Impressive Performance, Easy Application

Bostik Fireban® One is resistant to normal weathering conditions such as snow, rain, sunlight, sleet, pollution and atmospheric contamination. It is also resistant to certain chemicals such as alkalis, dilute acids, some solvents and intermittent contact with diesel and petroleum.

It comes in different colours such as off-white, white, grey and limestone. Its viscosity is non-sag as it is a smooth thixotropic paste. To maintain a satisfactory temperature and moisture content, this joint sealant requires moisture curing. Application temperature should be 5-35°C.
