Naotsune Alliance, a financial adviser for the world of business that provides discretionary investment advisory services for individual clients, wealthy families, institutional investors and investment trusts is pleased to announce ahead of the event that the theme of the 2018 International Women’s Day campaign is Initiative for Equality and respecting and valuing differences in the workplace.

More than 500 of the industry workforces from all over Japan have shared what makes them different for a montage of photographs that have been collated into a film clip.

Over employees who work in Naotsune Alliance’s network of affiliates who agreed to take part in the initiative. Using the slogan, ‘Celebrate diversity…’ they will be photographed celebrating their individual differences. These pictures will be collated into a short video montage for release on social media after the event.

The initiative aims to promote the value that diversity and inclusion bring to the workplace. It recognizes everyone is different but this should not hinder people working together. In fact, mixed teams are able to look at issues from different perspectives and, as a result, formulate better solutions.
