Poverty is related to insufficient funds to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. However, poverty is much more than a lack of money. In addition to a lack of money, poverty is also linked to the inability to participate in leisure activities. Inability to send children on a day trip to school or a birthday party with their classmates; I can't buy medicine for an illness. These are all costs to be poor. Those who can hardly afford food and shelter cannot think of these other costs. If people are excluded from society, if they do not have adequate education and their sickness rate is higher, it has negative consequences. We all pay the price for poverty. Rising costs to the health system, justice system, and other systems that support people living in poverty affect our economy.

Amitofo Care Center is a charity organization for children. We are providing direct help to risk groups. We focus on a long-term strategy to ensure these children have the tools and skills they will need for themselves and their families in the future.

Aside from basic needs like food, water, health, and shelter, the Amitofo Care Center focuses on providing these children with a childhood that can help them grow, improve their skills, and nurture their talents and abilities. Our schools offer a combination of local curriculum and physical education and English and Chinese classes to prepare them for international players in this globalized world. We want Sustainable development goals for Africa so that children can have a better future.

One of the biggest problems children face due to the tragedies of war and oppression is that they can get caught up in a cycle of poverty. The Amitofo Care Center is working hard to break this circle of vulnerable children in several African countries.

We are constantly striving to renew and improve our daily facilities to provide inclusive education that will have a tangible impact on the future of these children. Our programs for these children are in direct line with the United Nations' first six Sustainable Development Goals.

Amitofo Care Center relies generously on funding from private donors around the world. We work with local communities and relevant departments and rely on donated areas to set up and run our child protection centers.
