The process of making aluminium products begins with massive aluminium roofing sheets.

It was a balmy Sunday morning of August 25th when a motley crowd of journalists, photographers, well-wishers, prospective distributors, and company officials along with some catering staff were gathered at 47 Lake Rd, Tuggerah, Sydney, Australia – the head office of Alumitec.

Mr. Steven Hall, the Chief Public Relations Officer for Alumitec was personally at hand to guide us through the sprawling plant that manufactured almost anything and everything connected with Aluminium like Aluminium Pool Fencing, Commercial Glass Balustrades, and Aluminium balustrades railings or more. Mr. Hall is a handsome local lad with a Master’s degree in Sales Management. Sporting Sunday casuals rather than corporate attire, Mr. Hall wearing an elegant printed shirt over beige coloured trousers, was accessorized with stylish Rayban Aviator shades and looked more like a classy relaxed airline pilot than a cookie cutter styled PRO. Looking around, I noticed Mr. Hall was not uniquely dressed. The company officials of Alumitec too were similarly dressed – all in their Sunday attire, looking cool and relaxed which is why I dubbed this report as Alumitec – the stylish Aluminium Fencing suppliers and distributor.

As the tour of the aluminium plant began – here allow me to clarify that the plant does not manufacture aluminium – it fabricates various reality estate related products made from aluminium. We were told that these products ranged from aluminium balustrades to aluminum pool fence panels, aluminium railings, cheap privacy screens, gates, aluminium facades systems to aluminium louvers and slats.

The process of making aluminium products begins with massive aluminium roofing sheets. This raw material is freighted to the factory on massive Semi Trailers. There were at least 10 of these lined up and waiting to deliver. The aluminium sheets are off-loaded by two giant motorized fork lift trucks and carried into the holding area of the fabrication plant.

The fabrication plant itself was massive and neatly arranged. It was also extremely noisy. The fabrication plant was divided into many sections each creating a particular product. In each section massive cutting machines sliced through the aluminium pool louvres, aluminium sheets, aluminium facades creating small aluminium sheets of a particular shape required for the product to be fabricated.

To make a long story short, massive lathe machines, presses and grinding machines then took over the sliced aluminium sheets and churned out a product. So in one section we saw aluminium balustrades being manufactured, in another it was aluminium fencing, then there was aluminium railings, there were aluminium gates, aluminium pool fencing and aluminium louvers.

The end product was shinny, smooth and polished to fine sheen. Mr. Hall who found me admiring the aluminium balustrade and the Aluminium glass fencing told me that the pool fencing could either be welded at the site it was to be installed, or if the customer so desired, it could be bolted to each other via special near invisible screws. This made the aluminium pool fencing easy to install and remove if required. Mr. Hall said the technique was especially developed for the hotel industry.

Tour done, we were steered towards to refreshment area where the catering crew served us from a delicious spread of hard Australian breakfast. The neatness of the fabrication plant and the quality of the final product was quite impressive. Mr. Hall also told me that they were open to issuing nationwide Fencing supplier Australia. I could see that with Mr. Hall at the helm of sales and good quality aluminium fabrication, Alumitec would not have trouble doing well.
